Alyssa Moore is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is a financial archival researcher with a special interest in firms’ information environments and the information flows of economically related firms. In her dissertation, Alyssa uses a hand collected sample to investigate whether the adoption of blockchain technology to facilitate private interfirm communication influences managers’ public disclosure choices.
Alyssa earned her PhD in Accounting from Florida State University in May 2024. Prior to her doctoral studies, she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude) and a Master of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Southern Indiana.
Alyssa has experience teaching Intermediate Accounting II. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys training for marathons and is a former collegiate athlete in cross-country and track and field.
